Dear incoming 6th graders.
you may think that east is going to be so boaring. it more than likly will be at the end of the year all the students get to have a carnival. carnivals at east are so much fun there are lots of games and food. they are alot of fun because you are around friends all day.their are lots of games such as, the dunk tank and many many more.
in the carnival you have so much fun because of all the things that you can do. one activity is that you can go to is the dunk tank. when you play at the dunk tank you throu a ball and try to hit a target if you hit the target then the teacher that is sitting on the dunk tank fall into the water.also the best part is that if you get hungry you dont wait till lunch all you have to do is go to the food court and buy what ever kind of food you want. so you have fun and you dont starve.
so 5th graders if you come to east middle school look forwared to the carnival at the end of the year!!!!!!!!!!

Friend Prompt

Sometimes when you may be sad lonely or just need a friend you look for someone that is caring. Personally i would describe myself as a very caring friend. When my friends feel sad or depressed i stay and listen to them until they feel better. I also try to help them out by letting them know that i care for them. Most of the time i will stay up until 3 in the morning just talking to themselves. Another thing that describes me as caring is that when one of my friends is feeling sad i always feel really bad for them and try my hardest to make them feel all smiley. When my friends need a caring person i am always there.
